Abstract

The following set of slides relates to the work of Road Link, of which Christian & Nielsen are major shareholders, regarding the A69 DBFO project.

The A69 DBFO project was the first of its kind in the LrK. This presentation includes details of the scheme, its current status, Road Link's approach to DBFO and why it was successful in securing this particular scheme, and an outline of the financial results of the sdheme to date.

The presentation also considers the potential future for DBFO and the alternative ways of funding such schemes in the UK other than through the current shadow tolling mechanism.

In addition, it comments upon the issues related to local authority promoted schemes as compared with central Government schemes.
